Jelly/Glitter Sandwich Nails

Hello polish loves... Today I have for you my 1st attempt @ Jelly/Glitter Sandwich. What is a "Jelly/Glitter Sandwich" in Nail Terms?...Well, it's layers of glitter and sheer polish... Here's how you acheive the look...-

1- You prep your nails as usual w/base cost.
2-2 Layers of "Jelly" [Sheer] Nail Polish. [or 1 depending on the thickness of the polish]
3- 1 or 2 coats of your Fav. Glitter Polish.
4- 1 thin coat of the same jelly polish.
5- Top it off w/ Glossy Top Coat!

Here's what I used:

Base,  Revlon "Royal", 1 of Kleancolor "Afternoon Picnic" & 1 of S.V

2 coats of "Royal"

1 of Kleancolor "Afternoon Picnic"

1 thin coat of "Royal" & S.V [Pic taken Outdoors]

Indoors w/Flash

For it being my 1st Jelly/Glitter Sandwich, I really liked the look & Sparkle of it!....=)

For today's  "Try it on Tuesday"  I used China Glaze~ "Flip Flop Fantasy", SallyHansen "Black Out" & WnW Coloricon "Bow In My Presence"...=) Unfortunately Neons are so hard to capture on camera..=/  Flip Flop Fantasy is a creme neon orange.

Julep~ "Claire" Black Tip French Mani

 

    For this Mani I used Julep~ "Claire". I've really liked blues lately & this one is on the Top of my List!.. Beautiful "Sky Blue creme". I decided to go with black French Tips w/striping tape. =)

                  I used Julep~ "Claire" w/WnW~ "Black Crème" & Striping tape from bornprettystore.

Essie ~ "Bikini so Teeny"

Today I have "Bikini so Teeny" from Essie's Summer Collection 2012. It's a slendid pale cornflower blue with a slight hint of shimmer. Not my favorite from Essie. Formula was very thin and needed 3 coats. Nonetheless, I really like the color, especially with a nice summer tan...=)
